what does tumblr think of this show
As a tumblr user who is trans. (not the #triggered 'omg stop oppressing me' kind. the kind that likes cat pictures and following game devs)
This show makes me want to throw up. Worst trans representation (Immediately complaining about everything. Other shows did this with characters they wanted people to hate) (pez... dispenser..? ....?????????? there's no way she wrote that line herself). tribal character design (Seriously, Cameron seems like he was raised by white foster parents and went to all-white schools. They tried to make him as 'not-stereotypically black, because he's normal, 'like white people'' as possible). Making abuse seem like it's ok as long as 'you were a troubled teen and don't know any better. (as long as 'you're a blond white guy with tattoos' (seriously this was a subject that's come up before))'.
As far as animation quality goes...
There's Go Animate. Under that is Nyan Neko Sugar Girls.
This show somehow made it between them. As a serious project. Sugar Girls was a joke. Gen Zed is serious.
I am done here. This show pisses me off too much. I'm going to pretend it doesn't exist.
