Author Topic: Should I quit HS Marching Band?  (Read 2143 times)

So, marching band hasn't been the best for me, we practice until 6:00 (Tuesday-Thursday) and in 90°F weather and I find it as a waste of my time
But also I'm worried my parents will be upset and I'll miss out

So it is the question

Btw I play Alto Sax

quit and find something else then

Tell them you aren't interested

why do you care what your parents think
why would they force you to do something you openly do not enjoy

Do it, I quit marching band back in december and I have no regrets.

what instrument do you play in the band

if it's like a piccolo, evacuate immediately. you're not a forgetin satyr

the thing is... I stand on the sidelines

Leave, it's not worth it even if you do get some trip, join something like robotics.

explain to them you don't think its fun and you didn't like it as much as you expected. hopefully they'll understand

It is actually really good exercise, tbh.

If it forgets up your homework and your other extraneous activities, then drop it.

wut?

i share a spot with a Tenor Sax player so we can't be in the same spot

leave, however if you were drumline i would tell you to stay. drumline is the real brothers.
