warnings: already exist informally. the offenses you listed there usually just result in an edit and a post explaining why, rather than a ban
except piracy. sometimes that gets a ban and sometimes it gets nothing. I have no idea how the decision is made

Without Rotondo, Ephi, and Kompressor, Badspot is completely alone on the forums. By the way, if you were wondering why Rotondo is on the list, He only works on The Forgettable Dungeon.

This, I remember Rotondo edited a post once on how to make a pipe bomb to remove the content to make sure no one used it.

The vote ban would abused to no end. I could just randomly start a vote and everyone would just vote to ban the person for laughs. Plus we can usually hold down the fort just fine until Badspot comes online.

On the whole warning system, I'm fairly certain that Badspot doesn't use warnings simply because he doesn't want to spend tons of time micromanaging everything that we do.

Quite literally the worst idea I've ever heard anyone suggest for this forum (or anything, really).

You are putting the power to ban into the hands of a tyrannical majority of children. If this was actually added to the forums, we would be inundated with lynch mobs of users trying to get their e-Enemies banned by mass reporting.

A slightly less apocalyptic but equally stupid idea. If someone is breaking the rules, then Badspot or Rotondo will ban them. Warnings are completely unnecessary and just a way for internet lynch mobs to harass their e-Enemies.

Warnings don't involve user input. Reports are just regular reports. There would be a option to add as a warning or just ban for a period of time (depending on how admin panel works idfk).

I don't see the need for this new system at all, 1 week bans ARE your warnings.
