Well I'm sure Personal Padlets are allowed, but yes the primary purpose of it is directed at schools and businesses.

That said most of the BLF Padlets got removed for violating the Content Policy, one of the reasons being because research was being posted in the Padlets. Out of 7 of the Padlets created for the BLF, only 2 of them are standing. Those two didn't break the policy and were clean unlike the other 5.
A Padlet wouldn't work on the forums anyway, people lose interest extremely quickly.
