Highly, highly recommend Unlocker, which is an application that tells you which programs are locking which files. It can attempt to force delete/rename the file as well as showing you who has control. Install, right-click and press "Who is locking this file/folder?"

use command prompt to cd to the directory and delete it that way, if it still gives file not found, restarting your PC might actually make the file disappear if its not really there

if you try to make a file named "s2ks." and remove the txt or what ever if becomes "s2ks" without the dot, same happens with more dots
oh and yes it is gone
