Does anyone else hate freshman high school elections

They are so loving annoying. I hate seeing memes and unfunny jokes plastered on to the walls, and it makes me cringe whenever I see them just take a picture and use "LOL IMPACT MEME TEXT!!!" on it.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Yeah it's just a glorified popularity contest, I don't even know what school president/vice president/secretary/treasurer even do, I guess it's not too important though since after they win there's not much mention of them anymore

All of the freshman posters at my school are a bunch of loving girls with like 6 layers of makeup on and photos that were ripped off of instagram with 10 filters on
