Author Topic: Apple unveils their Surface knockoff  (Read 1830 times)

Here's the surface, a line of devices that've been around since 2012. They're portable laptops that run full windows, with detachable keyboards and a touchscreen + stylus.

Here's the iPad Pro, a device that runs iOS, that has a sold separately keyboard (no trackpad) and stylus. If you add it all up, it's more than a Surface 3 + accessories.

How they get away with this stuff evades me.

apple: "it goes 44!"
guy: "44 what?"
apple: "uh..44 speed!"

Don't forget the starting from 800 dollars price point.

And the "We will make another one with subtle changes in a year and make yours obsolete"

and of course, the macfagriends are going to eat this up

looks like an iPad with a keyboard to me
I don't see how this is a ripoff :/

this is literally a loving ipad with nothing added to it holy stuff

lol wtf, I'll stick with iPad thx

everyone keep in mind that this comic was made in 2012 lol

can someone tell me what's actually a ripoff here
all I'm seeing is an iPad with a keyboard
what's new and different

It was obvious from the start, but this man. Joel watson...your probably experiencing the biggest rush of euphoria known to men.

It's not really a ripoff. It's just a larger than normal sized ipad that's too big to carry anywhere. Also they nearly doubled the price compared to a normal ipad so ya forget that.
