I met BL_ID 189999, and his name was Blockhead190000, i don't know if it was a joke or not.

This is what happens.

Someone buys Blockland and gets BL ID 1999.
They change their name to Blockhead2000.
Someone else buys Blockland and gets BL ID 2000.
The system can't give them the name Blockhead2000 because it's already taken.
The system makes up for it by giving them the next available name up.
Everyone now has the name BlockheadBL_ID+1 until someone buys Blockland and changes their name before anyone else buys the game.

i remember when i first bought the game and people kept calling me new because i had a 29k id

that was in like, 2011? the game's gotten new players pretty fast
when in 2011? i bought it in the summer of 2011 and I have a 36k id. i doubt 7 thousand people bought the game between jan 1st and mid summer

Um I got an ID earlier this year and it's 48k. This has to be a steam ID.

I feel both old and young simultaneously

40ks are reserved for amazon

40ks are reserved for amazon
Not true.
40ks are still purchasable from blockland.us, 2k's are still purchasable from amazon (the $500 ones), and 190k+ ids are purchasable from steam.

My ID is 6959. Been playing since version 7.

I really feel old.

Is it bad that I still consider 40k+ a noob?

40ks are reserved for amazon
thats 50ks

originally a 7k but getting revoked kind of makes it hard to justify any kind of gloating about it lol

solution: If someone attempts to change their name "Blockhead######" check if their BL_ID matches their numbers; if not deny them from changing their name.
