Nope 50ks are reserved for the amazon, 40ks are reserved for the website, and 60k+ is from steam. Maybe 60k+ might be for the website now, but it definitely was for 40ks back in 2013.

Yeah, higher IDs don't automatically mean newer players. Every retailer has a seperate range, for example there was also a site selling 2k IDs until not too long ago.
