What do you like about your parents?

Welp. I've been on this thread for the past 10 mins thinking of what to write. And I can't think of anything. That may seem like an overstatement, but I'm in paranoia right now that I cant think of a loving reason why I like my parents, none the less love them. That's pretty forgeted up. Gonna go cry for an hour now.

My dad is a stuff,hes too selfish and just wants everything like he wants it. He buys like,5 cans of tomato sauce even if we all dont like it.

And my mother is amazing. She cant walk much but she is recovering,the recovery process actually makes her less healthy due to over-weight issues.

Mom: Best cook, most caring person i've ever known. She kept her head up while she was in the hospital with some unknown disease, passed away 8/3/2012, rip.

mom is really awesome. really reasonable, understanding and beyond patient with my and my brother's stuff sometimes. she also doesn't give a forget that my brother is bi and doesn't care too much that he drew dragon research once

dad was really nice, hard-working, and was a focken genius. he designed the systems for the nuclear plant when it was being built and he worked there plenty of years, even showing me around this once. he did suffer from emphysema from heavy smoking when he was younger but when i was 1 and a half he quit entirely. then after 16 years of being diagnosed with it he did end up passing :c but he was really awesome. he was also super generous and gave me a cintiq last christmas and a lenovo y70 for my last bday

and both really supported me with my drawings, which really kept me going

I love my parents so much, they are really getting on in age (my dad's in his mid 60s and mum late 50s) and their innabilities are become more frank and it is clearer now that they will only be around for so long.
My dad has done everything, a jack of all trades that has been the main source of income for his family since he was 14.
My mum is an old soul who is supportive and creative in everything she does.
