Cutting your assets off doesn't exactly make them irrelevant. Unless pachinko machines gain worldwide success I doubt Konami is going to be getting the same profit they were getting when they were actually trying to publish and develop games.

With that said, it's also likely they're moving to mobile gaming rather than just stop making games altogether. There's a cloud of uncertainty over the whole thing because this is Konami we're talking about

what im trying to say is that you didn't have to go into such fine gory detail as to how much of a trainwreck konami is because at some point you're going to go from 'i am trying to express konami is a trainwreck' to 'i am going to write a flowery prose-filled poem about guns and stabbing that will serve as an allegory to how big of a trainwreck konami is' and one of those things hurts way more to read then the other, especially if the prose doesnt make any sense

and beyond that the whole point of a shotgun is to be loaded with buckshot, that's like saying 'a gasoline tank full of gasoline'
