Author Topic: Big text help.  (Read 900 times)

I know the thing, <color:FFFFFF> is white and other 6 digit numbers.
But, how do I make the text big? and change the font?

Type in this <font:(font name):(size)>

Does it work with every font?
how do you put it in?

<font:impact:64>
test fonts to see if they work, if they become a default font, it isn't supported
things like papyrus, impact, comic sans and so on are supported

Clients need to have the font installed, otherwise they will see the default one

So you should only use fonts that are default on both windows and mac

All fonts that are installed on your computer will work.
However, if you're on/hosting a server, no one else will be able to see the font you used unless they also have it.
Many fonts, such as Times New Roman, Comic Sans, Impact and Papyrus come pre-installed with Windows and Mac. But there are many more that other users might not be able to see properly.

The most common is <font:impact:(number goes here for size)>

The main fonts I use are:

  • Impact
  • Verdana
  • Verdana Bold
  • Palatino Linotype

The normal size is 16.

You can find all of your fonts in
Blockland / base / client / ui / cache

You should see a list like this:

Those are only the fonts that Blockland has made a file for because someone previously used the <font:> tag in-game.

And if the font wasn't on your computer when that file was created, it's just the default font.
