Do ppl seriously buy this game for the forums?

There are plenty of users (including myself) who regularly browse the forums and play the game.

I think the problem is that many people's in-game names are different from their forum names, so you've most likely come across a forumer and didn't even know it.

That said, there are plenty of people who don't even play the game anymore and just browse the forums

Actually I renewed my own interest into the game when I got it again on Steam. I just don't play it that often at the moment because of the other things I have to do. The forums is just something I do in my splices of spare time.

Yes, pretty much. Many of us are on their 4th or 5th alt.

I bought this game because I liked lego games
but now I get bored with it tbh

People like me who owned Blockland since like, e.x., v.8, essentially did all the possible things in this game.
Not saying it's limited, but it's not being updated as much anymore and the mods just got boring.
Playing once in a while with friends is fun, but that's about it, I just lost interest in the game itself.

I don't think that was his intent with bringing in authentication (we had much more trouble with disposable alts spamming before), but I'm sure it's brought him some decent money given the amount of people who see it as a toll (and pay it), rather than as an included benefit of buying the game (it is a benefit because it gives you access to the number one place to get help/tips with the game and add-ons).

i originally found this game sometime in may-june 2011, bought it july 6th of that year, and registered for the forums
i copied and pasted a thing that my friend sent me unknowingly to my own awareness, had a auto-ban link or something in it
about a year later on my birthday in december 2012, i bought another key so i can use the forums
this was a month after i had gotten my new computer, that can actually run games and stuff
i still play the game sometimes, but not as much as i used to
server quality within some servers has gone down quite a bit, but some servers are still ok
the blockland teamspeak is a neat thing i like to go to sometimes
probably one of the only reasons that i drifted away from this game was because of the shaders update
i know it sounds bad but its the truth
