There was this one legendary pokemon theme. I forgot which version though.

It would always give me a bolt of adrenaline everytime I heard that when I was a kid lol.

EDIT:

Found it, it was the Regi theme on ruby sapphire and emerald (GBA)

holy crap this too

Probs the best boss music ive heard

I still remember, I think I had a federation ship and I got to the boss and heard this.

Of course I lost at the end but still lol. I still have the whole FTL Soundtrack

no particular order, i feel every game emits a different feeling with their music, and i just happen to like these

1. Kingdom Hearts
2. Metal Gear Solid or Metal Gear Solid
3. Chrono Cross (not final boss, because final boss doesn't have a 'theme', but close enough)
4. Kingdom Hearts
5. Kingdom Hearts
6. Aveyond
7. Mega Man
8. Metal Gear Rising
9. Dark Souls
10. Silent Hill
11. Chrono Trigger (not final boss, but essentially is)

motherforgeter how can my innermost apocalypse be number 5 that stuff is the bomb

If I could, all 5 would be from Ratchet & Clank 3's soundtrack, but you only want end-game songs.

The last three have a bit of warm-up before they get to the awesome bit, while the first 2 take all the tension you've had over the entire game and make you want to ground-pound your enemies into fine dirt.

My list:

GBA version of Champion Asshat/Blue/Green's theme is the most intense in my opinion

in no particular order:

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Kirby Triple Deluxe
Super Paper Mario
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team

no idea why nearly all of my favorite final boss themes are from mario RPGs but here is my list
