So this happened a good 2 weeks ago. I was helping my grandma dig up some weeds in my new house, and found that a few inches underground. Turns out it's a Remington UMC Nitro Club 12 gauge shell head, and it was made from 1915-1937. I forgot to let my favorite forum know about this. Discuss finding cool stuff in your backyards and stuff I guess

The primer has already been struck.

The primer has already been struck.
the circle still needs to be nailed regardless of being primed or not
like, forget that circle, what right does it even have

Couple weeks ago I found an old bottle in the woods across the street.  Made in March of '48 according to the bottom, by the Cope Bottling Company of Taunton MA.  Apparently they're out of business now and the bottle is worth like $5.  Thick glass, some weird petina like stuff on the inside, possibly residue from all the dirt that was inside, or maybe from all the soap I used to try to clean it.

Misread this as "So I Recently Got and Old Shotgun to the Head"
