Honestly I agree with you, in fact, I find your assessment of Sugars "Typing style" a bit conservative. "Borderline spam" is a goddamn understatement if ive ever heard one, its pure spam, and the fact that the community excuses it as one users "Autism" is ridiculous.

If you find yourself sitting at a table with 100 other people and one of them hops up on it and starts flinging stuff at everyone else its okay to tell them to stop or remove them from the table.  The BL community seems to think the proper procedure for such things is to put on a raincoat if you don't like people flinging stuff at you.

The best part about it is that your crucified as some "Autism Hater" if you dare to speak your mind and say Sugar is a loving nuisance to the community.

i really do not understand why you cannot comprehend that there are members of this society in which we need to make exceptions for in terms of how we treat them socially. i could bring up the argument that "they didnt choose to be born that way" but who gives a stuff about that anymore? they are who they are. the person who had said that to you shot out the most nonsense i have ever head, comparing a mentally disabled person to someone who flings stuff, and they complain about autistic people when they don't know the difference of your and you're.

autism is an illness, and there is no way to go around that. we haven't got the slightest clue as to how to have someone be normal with it, but we do have a clue that the people who do have it and are high functioning (and even lower, in some cases) do indeed understand communication and certain social cues. you are treating them as if they are simply a nuisance due to the way they type. honestly, i am glad she is able to express her feelings at all, in ways that are not vague shouts of loving agony.

Sure, but for an autistic 13 year old who is apparently so autistic she cant do stuff. Blockland, hell video games in general is not a good outlet. This entire thing is ridiculous, if her family truly cares about her in a way that they would even go on the forums and post on her behalf, then she should not be in the game.

I personally think people should go by what you are saying. Most of the people who bully her are in the 11-15 age range. Mocking an autistic kid is f***ed up.

The game itself on single player is child friendly sure. Playing online isn't, do you really think it is child friendly online? Sure you can make it child friendly by also disabling the chat (which needs to happen so people don't "bully" her). But do you want to argue the fact that 80% of the playerbase are jackasses and above 15? This is not a good place for someone who is handicapped to that degree and that young, it just doesn't mix well.
