Author Topic: Temple Mount - Western Wall  (Read 2283 times)

Hey guys, I've been working on the Western Wall for a few days and I've decided to share it.
I don't know why I've started building it, I was just bored I assume. I used Google Earth to complete most of this.
Anyway, Here's Mekholot ha-Kotel (The Western Wall), the most important place in Judaism. I am also planning to build a majority of the Temple Mount as well (Western Wall, Dome of the Rock, Al Aqsa Mosque), or so I plan to.

About the Western Wall:
The Western Wall is the only part of the First Temple that is still standing today (?). In 44 A.D., The Romans sacked Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple. The left side of thew wall is strictly for men to pray; the right is strictly for women to pray. The wall is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 11 million tourists visit the wall annually

Constructive Criticism is allowed // 6376 Bricks so far // Some color variation occurs within the bricks

i really like this!

Who's been throwing stuff at the wall again?

How'd you get the 4x4's out of line with each other? What brick pack is it?

I really need something like that for building castle walls. It doesn't look right when a big stone wall is perfectly smooth.

what colorset are you using? :o

I'm 95% positive it is not Truenos, I'll check when I get home, but I'm sure it's not.

I bet its Architectural revised.

I've been there earlier this year. You need many many more flags. Like US-more.

Also, people seem to be loving the wall while they pray, lol.

yeah that's either my colorset, architectural 2.0 or he made his own

very few colorsets have that many stone color variations

Yeah, it's called 'Colorset_Architectural2'

The left side of the wall is strictly for men to pray; the left is strictly for women to pray.
And who prays on the right?
