Author Topic: Should this guy have sued this "company"  (Read 1174 times)

Right so this guy basically bought a prostitute from a prostitute company.
At the climax of the action she landed so hard that the guy's richard broke in half.
He then proceeded to sue the "company" for the medical costs.
Should he been able to sued the company?
/discuss

...
did he read the fineprint.

well the first question is whether or not that's legal where this supposedly happened

He can probably sue the prostitute but not the "company" unless it's a legal company.
It's just like how a burglar can sue a home owner because the burglar cut themselves on the window they broke.
Probably won't win, but you can still try to sue...

what
I'm just saying maybe the prostitute was supposed to break his richard

what's the name of this "company"?

it would be a perfectly legitimate case where i am in Australia

I'm just saying maybe the prostitute was supposed to break his richard
Lol'd

Brothels aren't technically legal in the UK (or rather, the places that operate as brothels are actually licensed as hotels, and they just happen to have prostitutes who hang around the place, but they just happen to be renting you rooms by the hour), so the 'company' wouldn't owe you anything in terms of damages, because they did not provide the service.

Prostitutes are legal in the UK however, but I don't know that they work as a business. Like, I don't think they pay tax on it, and you don't exactly have statutory rights on it, lol.

I don't know that you could sue the person for injuring you during love. I don't know how that would happen in a regular case of consenting love. And injuries are a known risk you take when having love, same as you accept you might have an injury while playing football or tennis. I suppose only if you could prove the injury was caused maliciously would you have a chance.

So chances are, if this were in the UK, you wouldn't get any money from anyone.

So actually, it turns out that prostitution can be considered as a trade/profession, and therefore can be eligible for income tax.

But it's a bit tricky over what constitutes a trade or profession. Like, if it was a very occasional thing you did, chances are it wouldn't count as a trade and so it wouldn't be subject to income tax.
But if you earnt most of your earnings from it, then a court may find it to be a trade, and so you could be required to pay tax.

Edit
I think that's the first time I've seen a post with a quote of itself

I was thinking that as I did it, lol. I've never seen one either.
Would've been even better if I'd done it while it was still a ninja-edit.

"I'm suing you for snapping my richard in two"
