So last night we had a pretty harsh flood and the ground fell right in the center of our street which is one long road. Nobody is able to drive in or out (see album for details)

I was in the middle of posting this too and our power went out. So I'm posting this on our phone

It's about 6 to 8 feet deep

damn, we had one down our street two summers ago
made it really hard to get home lol

its JUST enough to trap everyone in forever

enjoy your new eternity!!

Crazy.
I can't think of much more terrifying than the idea that your house could suddenly collapse into the ground while you sleep.

Looks like an ordinary pot-hole if you ask me.

Under that part of a road there is a large pipe that goes across. We're thinking it must have sunken down and took the road with it. Pipe is still in tact

Looks like an ordinary pot-hole if you ask me.
yeah too bad I don't live in the second world

there was one that opened up on a beach in australia not that long ago that swallowed up a couple of vehicles

help torg cross the road

last year we got unusual amounts of monsoon rain (it was a record i think) that softened the ground and caused a couple miles of road near me to sink and it had to be repaved

nothing as bad as this though

Sink holes scare the forget out of me since there's no way to detect them and they're sometimes huge enough to swallow your house up.
