god damn. god damn it. i knew it wasn't just going to be some lame wedding episode, but i was not expecting...this. people can talk about fry's dog in futurama as much as they want to, but these are pretty much the worst feels i've ever had to deal with in a tv show

The only thing that really blows is the year between this and another episode.

I really enjoy the dark serious moments of the show, they're all my favorite. The whole juxtaposition from funny stuff to really heavy stuff is always great. The music they use when they cut to a dark scene is also always really fits the mood well.

well rick and morty both already died in one reality but i'm not sure that they'd use the same thing again

The use of Hurt this episode just really hit hard.

i hope it was just a joke referring to the previous season gap (1 year and 3 months) and that it's not going to take as long again, but then again i don't really mind if it does. quality over quantity/some fancy word for "getting new episodes sooner"
