2 and 3 are the huge part of the problem here. I can't find the post right now but someone brought up a good point in another thread that because of this backdoor spying in the OS, people can't use windows 10 for a ton of different jobs and fields where privacy of information and NDAs (such as working in the game/film development industry, or working on contract for the DOD) are important. Do you like Microsoft being able to spy on, view and access any and all of the files on your computer?

Pretty much every common OS, Windows included, has participated in data collection/spying programs like PRISIM for many years now. It didn't start with Windows 10. If you want to stop getting spied on, use a Linux distro that isn't supported by a company (This means that Ubuntu and Red Hat aren't options).

im sticking to 7 maybe 8 but as of right now im taking a class on code academy to learn how to use the terminal on linux

I've spent about a month on windows 10 now and I really love it personally. On install I spent maybe 10 minutes in powershell removing bloatware, then maybe another 5 disabling the telemetry stuff. After that it has turned out to be a really solid OS.
