I'm sure people have also told you this before, but both the services which send files to Microsoft can be disabled.


You can disable file testing submission in the Security settings.


If you set this value found under Privacy to Basic, then only basic telemetry is sent. No personal data whatsoever is touched. If set to Enhanced instead, it sends pieces of workable data but no full files.


You can't reasonably call it a trojan or backdoor since it doesn't actually provide any access in that direction. They are only services which send information to Microsoft servers when triggered by certain actions (Typically program crashes or performance issues).

I have seen it yes, unfortunately nowhere in the privacy policy does it state which service the files are being shared from. It could be any combination of services or one not listed in options, which is a completely valid option considering the mobile version of microsofts website has the same privacy policy with the exact same statement prepended by "Mandatory Disclosures." Mandatory as in non-optional.

Not even pointing out what you say and how you say it will affect you at all. Not even pointing out that no rational person acts the way you do will help.
