Author Topic: Astro headphones going to stuff [moved from general discussion]  (Read 1048 times)

Hey, remember that topic where I asked how good my Astro Gaming Headphones were? Y'know, the $250 ones? Well, now sound only comes out of the right speaker. What do I do? These were pretty expensive (even though I got them for a measly $30 in pristine condition) and they have really good bass. Oh, and whenever I fiddle around with the chord that plugs into the headphones, the sound 'flickers' and sometimes, when I keep pushing it, I can get it to play out of both speakers.

i heard they have great customer service, try giving them a call.

Well if it's not on warranty and customer service won't help you then you're screwed, chances are they aren't actually worth $250 as well

When sound goes out of any side of your headphones and no external damage can be seen you're forgeted without a warranty.

The ones I most recently lost were sony headphones because the sound stopped working from a wire issue or something.

mine are almost 2 years old and still in perfect condition, save for some makeup buildup on the ear cups.

gaming headphones- 2 years [Razer Carcharias]
Workout audio (buds)- 3 years [Sony earbuds]
Regular music headphones- 3 months [Meelectronics diamond series]

not that hard to take care of your stuff, don't bunch your chords, don't yank anything out of socket,
