Author Topic: I want an Android phone  (Read 1586 times)

on nexus devices its relatively simpler, theres tons of documentation for it
correct. however if you have a moto g, motorola doesnt tend to put a lot of bloat on their newer moto phones
Can I have easy instructions? I looked on Youtube videos and they have 1,000 steps

See if you can get an LG G2. I got mine new for $220, and it's fantastic. Better than a Moto G 3rd gen (my brother and dad have that).
Seriously look into this. It's better than the Moto G in every way except that the software isn't quite as good. Even still, Lollipop on the G2 isn't bad at all.

Like, it's got a better screen, camera, build, processor, everythings better almost.

ughghghg

i dunno

i'll see what i can get, but i'd prefer to have the moto g.

in my case, i also have a moto G (1st gen)
but my carrier is still on 4.4.4 (recently too, we were on 4.4.2 up until a few months ago)

republic supposedly has custom kernel stuff though so that's supposedly why we're so behind on updates

if i were to get CM or any other rom, that'd break service for me, they don't make the custom stuff public

have you read on the cyanogenmod wiki page at all? the steps there are pretty straightforward and it's not a big long article
