The U.S. military begins expanding the scope of a typical soldier's training, this involves providing the average infantryman with a broader set of skills, such as being able to do logistics work. Support and logistics personnel in all branches will also be expected to be able to perform some combat duties. Specialization is still important within all branches, but the expansion of basic training will allow units to operate with less personnel in a tough situation.

Regulatory agencies are given greater discretion when issuing fines for violations, the penalty will be based off of the profits or revenue generated by violating regulations, rather than a solid amount. Similarly, regulations are being simplified or eliminated if they serve no purpose (being able to demonstrate you can contain a milk spill).
The IRS is expanded to provide assistance to taxpayers who have questions about their taxes.
