Wire - an actually half decent communication service

wire is cool imo, it's an application for ios, android and web that allows you to voice and text chat with others. there really isn't a huge difference between other apps, but i've found that communication almost always goes without inconveniences. plus built in soundcloud and youtube support (i think). so make an account and test it out, please, because amazing things always go unnoticed.

or skype, telegram, whatsapp, snapchat, messenger (if you mind zuckerberg looking at your stuff), google hangouts, tox, and the other plethora of messaging apps out there.

i've standardized on steam, facebook, skype, and snapchat. easy enough, don't have other people to talk to on those other services.

OTHER THAN THAT i still feel that this isn't that bad of a service, just really have no use for it.

never use it on my phone, and it's the only reliable (sadly) webcam chat program out there.

google hangouts works but it's easier for me to click "call" on skype.

the only real problem is that it hogs up my cpu for encoding webcam, which is understandable.

Well skype's forgeted by microsoft, telegram has a plethora of cryptographic (security) issues, whatsapp is good, messenger is as you said forgeted by facebook, hangouts is forgeted by google, and tox is good.

when i need clear as hell communications i use blink (sip)

when i need something that most everyone has i use skype

when i don't need clear or common voip/text methods i use wire.

i'm basically saying when i don't have certain standards to meet i stick with wire. not many of my friends use it, but i've convinced a few people to jump on the train and most of them say that they're satisfied with it.
