Should hunting stay legal or be made illegal?

Hunting is already very regulated with open seasons and permits and licenses and such. Hunting animals when you're not supposed to is already illegal, it's important for population control in many cases. Shooting an animal in the head is already a more human fate than any predator attack or factory death.

while you are correct about the regulation of hunting, you'll be hard pressed to find a hunter that goes for the head.  It doesn't look good having a deer head on the wall that has a big ass bullet hole in it.

Getting rid of a bullethole is elementary for a skilled taxidermist.

As far as hunting goes it's a good way to cull the population of a certain animal. Making it illegal for no discernible reason would do more harm than good
