It wouldn't be a sort, it would be a tdm, ctf, and another game mode using default blockland maps.  It would be kinda like a CSGO tournament but in blockland.

Trying to get 8 specific people to join your server all at the same time is not easy. It takes a lot of management and social skills to pull off. Especially when you have to do it 10+ times over the course of an entire tournament. You'd probably be better off doing a 2v2 thing and work your way up from there.

What I would have to do is have a sign up, and if your team doesn't show up, they get disqualified.  I will also, have to do a staff application for admins, and casters

have fun hosting a competition where every team is disqualified since one member doesn't show up at the specified time

seriously, its super hard to manage even a 2v2. i'm part of a small game community of 20 people where everyone knows each other and even then, hosting a 4v4 is difficult since everyone lives somewhere else and everyone is available at different times
