Author Topic: Stop the Trans-Pacific Partnership (A secret but even worse bill than SOPA)  (Read 3649 times)

The government should be more concerned with the needs of the 'common man' before they're concerned with gigantic business conglomerations, considering the 'common man' is what keeps commercial business alive in the first place. I don't know stuff about politics but something about "big business creating laws" sounds like a terrible and terrifying idea. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I don't think the modern first world needs to become any more plutocratic than it already is.

People are what makes the corporations money, so no, corporations are not more important than people.
Um in the eyes of several politicians they are so yeah

hold on, i lost track.  which party made all of these privacy-stripping laws again?

Hilary Clinton is actually defending this

not a surprise seeing as how no one here wants to vote for her

considering this one is an international thing, my guess is all of them

That doesn't make it correct

Hilary Clinton is actually defending this
She actually flip-flopped on it recently, but I don't trust her to actually go through with scrapping it

How to let everyone hate you
Step 1: Come up with this bill
Step 2: Succes!! Epic troll!

If this bill passes I'm going to move out of the country to some other country that did not pass this bill/the bill does not affect. (By pass I mean it gets full permission by the government n shiz)

Can someone find me an article on the TPP that includes these? Im still trying to find one

This is the third time that they done this and there just probably going to fail again. I'm just ignoring it for now but if they do get it pass through everything then yea there's probably going to be a riot (A huge one maybe).

why do they ever think bills like this are a good idea? they really aren't and it should be obvious if it's the same bill voted against 100 times

they might screen your phone for modifications before you leave so they can arrest you or something :^(
