Can't access router?

For about 2-3 months I haven't been able to access my router. It's online and its local IP is 10.0.0.1 or whatever
I'm using some xfinity router
pls help
it just hangs and never loads, (the spinning icon is there but it never loads up to the page)

Get a paperclip, find the "RESET" button on the back of the router (usually a small, round button inside of a hole; hence the paperclip) and press it with the paperclip.

Be warned that this will reset ALL settings on your router to their factory settings including the password. Note that this is suggested as a last resort, wait for some more replies to see if there's a less drastic solution. You may also want to try power cycling the router (turning it off at the wall and waiting around 1-2 minutes before turning it back on again) first
