Author Topic: Immortality decision  (Read 2735 times)

i would rather live for an extra second

I wouldn't want either of us to be immortal so we wouldn't have to live through the tragedy of outliving literally all of our friends and family

Well there's a lot of stuff that would have to go into the decision, ethics wise... Would you or your friend even want to be immortal? What if neither do? You said there are no other options... are there any side effects to the immortality, ie you still age? What if you and your friends are all serial murderers and immortality would lead to bad things? There are many questions!
You would technically age but by being immortal you would not experience the effects

i'd just walk away, or refuse to answer

depends on the friends............ i hate some of them cause they're bitch

okay but what does "the effects" mean man

i want to be immortal but still age so i can be a skeleton and become skeleton Queen

and what about pain? can you feel pain?
can you get hurt?

actually no
immortality is the extension of the aging process toward infinity, technically you can be killed and be dead. you aren't invincible, if thats what you mean.
get it right you sad meme

is no an option?

Clearly not because

There are no other options

Even tho he edited it after people opted not to.

Living forever sounds like torture. Dying early sounds like torture.

"Immortality is the ability to live forever or eternal life"
it's not as complicated as you seem to think. there are not a bunch of rules for what the word "immortality" includes
that's why we have to ask OP what he means, exactly. because he's asking the question and decides the terms

being immortal means you cannot die. it's being the opposite of being mortal, which means you can die
