Ok, I need to know, when you make your own server, does it go on your computer, or does it go to a main blockland server? The reason why I am asking this is because I am not allowed to make my own sever unless I know if someone could easily hack our computer through my server.

When you host, the actual server is your computer, but the information like name, bricks, players is sent to the blockland server - which people then view in the join server bit.

Generally you don't get hacked through hosting a server, otherwise the internet probably wouldn't exist because everyone would be hacked. Besides, I don't think you're very high on anyone's list of targets.

Too much trouble for kiddy scripters, no actual profit for proffesionnals, I'd say the chances of getting your server hacked is around nill.

Actually, there is ZERO chance you'd get someone to hack your computer. The Internet isn't built like that.

You can be hacked just by being on the internet. The question is probability. It would make it easier to hack you by hosting a Blockland server, yes. But, that doesn't necessarily mean you would be hacked. Remember, most viruses/malware are the user's own fault, for going to bad sites. Malicious, targeted hacking, is actually pretty rare. The hacker would more likely go after the Blockland Master Server than your computer, honestly.

did you have a "mid-life" hacking incident where your parents are totally strict about the internet or was it always that way?
