The best way to find a group to build with?

What is the best way to find a regular group to build with? Is it better to just try random free build servers and try to find people or connect with people here on the forums who are starting up a server?

I'm old. (31). I actually have a fairly large group I roll with online, but I couldn't get anyone to bite on this one.

Server hop and talk to players with (generally) low BLID's or clearly have great building skill. popular block parties or freebuilds are your best bet.
that's if you want quality/big project builds. if you just want people to derp around with, you can find servers like "A Random Man"'s freebuild thing and chill with buds.

like if you were to go play club penguin or something. there are so many kids, and I can't really see a whole lot of uh... legitimate... reasons someone that age would start playing a game for kids

...what's the point of this post? there's not a few older players around here simply because blockland lets them express creativity through building. What would you say about Wedge or Bones4 then?

Just join a server and start talking to people. It usually isn't too hard to get friends and hang with them pretty often.

You're never too old to play a game, as long as you enjoy it and have fun. Don't let someone else decide this for you.
