Author Topic: [VIDEO] Skeletons  (Read 4377 times)

does this mean you're gonna go back to making funny vids

pls

This video was decent at the beginning and middle with some nice camera angles and scenery, but then turned into trash at the end with just loud wub wub bullcrap ringing in your ear's and LSD light affect's.

And for anyone wondering, I ran it at 720 and 1080 pixel resolutions and that part is still terrible overall, the lens flare doesn't help at the end.

ehm

I thought it was funny. Guys it's not like the next hollywood blockbuster, it's a silly skeltal video on a lego game. I like how it turned out, better than something bland.

Filipe is right, it looks terribly on anything that isn't 60 fps. It must be you guys lol.

They're just criticising, they can feel free to give their thoughts about the video, but yeah you're right, it was just a video made for fun without any serious intention, but still, in any content you create you can expect any sorts of comments.

I'm aware, it just seems funny that they judge it harder than they judge some other videos that are posted in the gallery.

Everyone is asking how you get's his camera angles and movement. Would I be wrong if you did it in post production Filipe?

You're actually right there.

Wow. It's almost impossible to see any difference when you zoom in close because of Blockland's graphics. In real life you would need to shrink down the video to 720 (or 1080 if you had a 4k camera). That's pretty cool.

I'm saying that the rave scene could have been done better, The quick colour change's make it generally uneasing to the eye's. Most people get the idea that to make a rave scene, all you need is to change the colour's very frequently and just have a loud frequency beat which is quite annoying and needs to stop. Changing the volume for that part doesn't help much as the beat is quite annoying to listen to.

What mod are you using to record those type of camera movements? this would really be appreciated if you can give me a link to them

I just used the camera orb and did all of the camera movements by editing the video in Sony Vegas.

I have Vegas, do you know a tutorial that explains the camera movements you did? that would be really appreciated

Filipe didn't make the song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6-ZGAGcJrk

I felt the visual effects really brought out the power of that part of the song.
