You had that big massacre in Norway, and the sword massacre in Denmark recently.  Almost any country is pretty subjective. If it's anywhere in the EU, sure. Everywhere else is hit or miss.
They're not trends though, that's the difference

They weren't permitted to carry their weapons with them. In the case of the recruitment center shootings, the recruiters weren't allowed to carry either.
One MPO confronted him with a gun, shot and missed. Then he took his own life.
So not even the military trained are guaranteed to put a shooter down.

Yeah, it was a bum example though. Sorry.

Okay, one in Norway, and one in Denmark. And several countries that likely have none this year, or for the past few years.

How many in the US?

It's not like guns are alien to us either. Even little old dooble has been clay pidgeon shooting.
But because of our gun control we don't fear gunmen on the streets. We don't have metal detectors in our schools or practice lockdowns. I'm not even afraid of the police, because they don't have guns because they don't face guns.

It's a good system. It works.
And as for us instead having high knife crime, I have a better chance of outrunning a person with a knife than I do a bullet.
I agree with this
we're allowed to ownfirearms like shotguns and rifles of a certain size in scotland for farming, hunting or for sports but we aren't allowed to own handguns, this is probably due to them being easily concealed and we don't want another dunblane school shooting.

How many in the US?
At least 112 in the last 5 years alone.
Including 116 deaths, and 154 injuries.

There were 26 in 2013, giving an average of 1 every 2 weeks.
There were 40 in 2014, meaning 0.7 shooting every week on average. 13 of them were in January alone.

This is a 180 from your stance on alcohol. Either you are a 13 year old who doesnt yet know what he believes or you are mighty confused
I can't have different opinions on 2 different things?

Guns have 3 uses: Hunting, Self Defense, Defense Againsy Tyranny. If someone comes in your house with a gun you can't defend yourself with beer. If we take guns away only criminals will have guns and if only criminals have guns we won't have a defense from home invaders and the like.

Lol you tools still believe the purpose if the 2nd amendment was to protect our homes\stuff, and defend ourselves.
Suckers have been brainwashed well.

I love guns

But if you're going to take them away from us

At least issue Post-gun owners Tasers to replace them

problem solved

you just put taser out of business though

It isn't the guns

It is the people who have the guns

It is the people who have the guns
let's just ban people then.

starting from 2012 you had Aurora and Sand Hook as big name shootings, In 2013 you had Naval Yard shooting and the LAX shootout where only a few people got injured and the TSA put the shooter down, in 2014 you had Fort Hood. This you year we had Charleston and several other minor shootings like the recent zombie con.

You got all these depressed dudes, mentally ill, they want to hurt people, and they want attention. Mental health care in this nation is a joke and all the news agencies helped create this years influx by over reporting all the minor shootings.

When you compare mass shootings to just individual murders

Single victims have a higher population distrubtion compared to multiple victims

Some other interesting data if you were to look at it

edit: despite the news hype generation, violent crime rates has been on a large decline
