A dystopian future, that's what you would have called it.  Corruption, industry, crime, they have taken over earth.  Smog covers the skies, people work in factories now, there aren't anymore office jobs, they've all been replaced with software.  But worst of all, not only were machines replacing humans, but now humans were becoming them.  Augmentations, robotic limbs, brains.  Some of them by choice, some of them out of necessity.  And I'm one of them.  These augmentations, they're reserved for the soldiers and the cops, they're not for regular people like you or me.  Now people are walking around, wearing weapons, not even aware of it.  Some of these things, they're killing people.  Radiation poisoning and sickness have run rampant, and the monsters performing the surgeries aren't taking responsibility, and the corrupt pigs aren't doing stuff about it.  Well, I'm not having it anymore.

Daniel stood outside the door to the alleged office of The Doctor, at the end of a dimly lit alleyway, his small group behind him.  He looked back, roostering his head back briefly before facing the door again.  He rapped his knuckles three times on the door, a slit at about eye level slid open to reveal a pair of mean looking eyes.  "Who're you?" a muffled voice asked.
"We're here to see The Doctor," Daniel replied, looking at the group.
Daniel looked back at the pair of eyes, which shifted from him to the others.  "He's not in, sorry," before the slit slid shut.
Daniel rolled his eyes, knocking again.  The slit slid open, and the man spoke again, "What?" he asked.
"We're here to speak with the boss man," he said.
The man behind the door furrowed his brow, "forget off!" he then shouted before closing it again.
Daniel looked back at the group, sighing, "This is it, moment of truth.  Everyone ready?  No turning back after this."
He pulled his pistol, tucked in his waistband, gripping the back of the slide and pulling it back, chambering a round.

Norum un-holsters his pistol and switches off the safety, holding it at his hip and also grabbing the extra mag out of his backpack and slipping it into his pocket.  He then cracks his neck, walks up to the right of the door leaning up against the wall, and waits for Daniel to give him the signal.

Vincent quietly glances up to Daniel, nodding wordlessly. He reaches around and into his messenger bag, slipping out his handgun as his thumb drags along the polymer pistol grip to the side of the metal receiver, pushing the safety to the OFF position. Rather than holding it to his side, he holds it near the middle of his chest, aiming diagonally downwards towards the road. He paces off and to the side, mounting up against the wall behind Norum as his brows arch inwards, letting out a quiet breath of anxiousness mixed with anticipation. His left hand comes up to pat Norums shoulder once, letting him know he's ready to move any at given moment.

Norum turns his head and roosters it back a bit, signalling Vincent to step back a bit as he raises his left leg to his chest.  Norum then glances over at Archie who is currently staring off blankly down the road, and then back at Daniel.

Vincent promptly does so, pacing back two steps to make some distance as he positions his firearm around, diagonally aiming it downward whilst holding it near his chest, his left hand coming over to grip the pistol grip along with his right hand, ready to cap some nerds.

In one swift move, Archie flings his pistol out of his pocket, the weapon looping several times before he catches it. He holds it close to his chest, the muzzle pointing at the ceiling. He nods at Norum, then stares at the door with stern cold eyes, unmoved by the sea of tension.

"This is it. Like hell if I'm gonna piss off now," he whispers to himself.

Daniel placed his pistol in his left hand, laying his metal right palm against the concrete wall attached to the door frame.  His hand began to vibrate quietly, and Daniel looked at the door, his head turning back and forth as though he could see clearly through the wall.  Four rough human figures appeared to him in outlines.  He turned back to the crew, "Four men, probably armed.  One by the door, two at a table in the center, and one leaning on the wall to the right."

He took his hand off the wall, properly gripping his pistol and nodding, "When I knock on the door, Norum kicks the door in, knocking the guard down behind it.  Vincent leads with his armor, and takes the guy on the right out before he becomes a threat.  Archie and I will nail the two guys at the table.  Get ready,"

Daniel looked at Norum and nodded, before knocking on the door twice with his left hand.

This is gonna be good.

This is gonna be good.
Feel free to apply, it's not too late!

Norum tightens his grip on the pistol as he hears the latch on the slit open.

The slit in the door slides open quickly.  "I thought told you forgets to-"
With one kick with the force of a shotgun, Norum caves in the doorknob and locks, withdrawing with about the greater part of his foot covered in blood.

Norum then plants two shots through the door at what might be the perceived center of mass, and then leaps out of the way, crouching and watching the alley entrance for anyone who might look in.
