Author Topic: INHUMAN - Chapter Two: Seeing Red - Need Characters!  (Read 13650 times)

(Bump.  Please don't die...)

yeah, can we get some new characters please?

Alright might as well continue.

Norum begins to start down the hallway towards the stairs, stepping over the bodies and being cautious to be quiet, in case that anyone is lurking around the corner.  Norum holds his pistol at the ready, in the case he might need to use it.

Daniel followed closely behind, pointing his weapon up the stairway as they pass it to make sure no one was coming down.

(Archie catches the mag)

Archie carefully walks with them, following Daniel from behind. He holds his pistol up and focuses his attention on the neighboring doors, making sure nobody comes out.

how nice of you to join us again!

Norum looks back at Daniel, both motioning him ahead and making motions to indicate that his sonic vision might be of use.

Daniel took point, pointing his weapon up the stairs and then letting his aim fall to the floor.  He placed his hand on the wall, and it began to vibrate quietly.  He looked up, and then took his hand away, "We're good for about two floors up, can't see farther than that."

"Good thing."

Norum begins to walk up the stairs as before, following Daniel.

Norum then turns back to Archie, "Hey, you doing okay?"

Archie starts walking beside Norum.
"Well radiation is slowly poisoning me at the moment, but yeah it's all good," Archie jokes. "What about you?"

Daniel snickered, despite their current situation, as he continued up the stairs.

Character:
Name: Ian "Slayin' Mason
Age: 21
Weapons: HD-45, and Swiss Army Knife built into glove (hope that isn't op)
Physical Description: , Skinny tall figure, White/grey hair, ability to slide on ground just fine, seems to have a good knowledge of the city. Perfect assassin. Looks like sh*t without the mask sometimes, he seems to have been damaged by Radiation poisoning as well.
Body Modification: Night Vision googles (Built into the suit to be operated by voice confirmation, helps finding targets easier in a dark environment) His suit is mostly made out of leather and slightly iron, but 89% of the suit is leather, and the most important areas are covered with iron.
Short backstory: Ian was a dark and silent guy a lot, because of all the bad events that hurt him. But he moved on with his life as a military elite, but eventually stopped serving in the army and went alone with his life. He abused his knowledge and killed a bunch of people.

Character
Your post will be reviewed by blazer when he gets back.  Also might as well add "Combat Knife" since you have one on your leg.

My guess is that the following will get strikes:
The Sniper Rifle.
Healthiness in physical description.  Like this IS up to you but since we all have radiation poisoning, we're not exactly "healthy."  Relatively speaking, it's chill.
Choose 1 BM or nerf them.

Norum smirks, and continues up the stairs, also checking to make sure that the safety on his PD-9 is in its off position.

The team arrives a flight below the floor where Daniel reported there being troops.  "How many?  Any in the adjacent rooms?"

Character:
Name: Ian "Slayin' Mason
Age: 21
Weapons: Sniper Rifle, PD-9, and Electrical gloves (Something like GalvaKnuckles)
Physical Description: Skinny tall man, very healthy, and flexible. Sometimes red hair and black hair can be seen. Not much can be said about him at the time, due to him wearing his suit 24/7.
Body Modification: Night Vision googles (Built into the suit to be operated by voice confirmation, helps finding targets easier in a dark environment), Armour (Helps protect body from gun fire, however there is one little con to the suit. There are in total 2 weak spots in the suit that Ian doesn't mention alot).
Short backstory: Ian Mason was always considered "Special" by a lot of people, mostly because of his memory of huge locations, such as cities. The government questioned Ian Mason, mostly questions forward to "Do you want to serve in the Armed forces?". He accepted the offer and was a Elite Assassin, going to countries eliminating threats to us. Ian Mason seems to wear his suit a lot, in fact, it's said nobody has even seen his face or remembered it. He occasionally mentions something that happened during training, leading up to him wearing a suit. He says he was once abducted and kidnapped, until a fire started burning a tall building to the ground, leaving him weak and helpless. Then his life just changed, forever. Should we consider him Criminal or Neutral?

as desperate as we are for characters, I'm gonna have to deny this character.  your choice of starting weaponry (namely the sniper rifle) is too much, and your backstory isn't fitting to what our characters are supposed to be (criminals).  your body modification (an entire body-suit) is also too much.  however, like I said we are desperate.  I will give you the option of a.) reading the character creation guide/guidelines and re-applying, or b.) I can accept the character and replace items that I see unfit with items that fit within the guidelines.  this would include removing the sniper rifle, backstory, and reference picture, and reworking your augmentation.
