The point was to take Vincent's place in the group, so you'd be with the group.  Read through everyone's roleplay and try to base your style on it.
Am i just taking his place for a little bit of time, or do i have to be him forever? Because i don't have to be in the group right away, i could just be some guy who you stumbled across.

You're not playing as Vincent himself, you're just replacing the character with your own.  The idea is that we're a group of like-minded individuals, with the same issues that need to be solved, so we all got together and we decided to resolve it in our own way.  Yes, the story is somewhat linear (there will be opportunities to develop other story arcs) but that's really what makes this game an easier item to manage, and more fun for you guys because I can continuously generate content for the story without failure.  I have a story that I want to follow and that I don't want to die, a story that I want to tell, and you're helping writing it, and that's the fun of it, because while it's somewhat linear, you still have the power to shape your environment.  You have the power to solve certain problems the way you want.  But there will always be that "invisible hand" to sort of guide you in the right direction.

So instead of being a random guy on the street, you're one of these individuals, who linked up with us to search for a solution to your problem that you are slowly dying.  Now, I understand if you don't want to participate anymore because of this, but I really want you to give it a shot.

Daniel sighed, raising his hands above his head, "No plan here..." he said under his breath as he shook his head.

"Alright," one of the goons started, "Up the stairs, let's go," he said, waving his gun around.

"And someone turns these
god damn sprinklers off."

Oh Alright, but just say i just arrived at the area.

"Finally, I'm here..."

Ian groaned, not seeing his group, thinking they left.

"What in the hell? There are a bunch of bullets and holes everywhere.. GUYS? Where are you?"
Then notices a door wide open with some men with Daniel, and the other 2.

"Oh stuff!"
Runs behind the wide open door taking out my PD-9 and ammo.
"Are you f*cking serious? I forgot a lot of my ammo.."

OOC:   If y'all brothers want to create gang lore, there are a lot of gangs that need evidence written on them.  The currently existing gang lore is for the The Flies and The Redbands.

Daniel sighed, beginning to walk up the stairs, "Come on, they haven't shot us yet, they must want something," he said.

Norum follows Daniel, not moving suddenly as to suggest resistance.

Archie shrugs, and follows the two, being cautious of his movements.

Ian rolls into the building unnoticed taking cover.

Then, a thud is heard, causing all goons to look downstairs finding the door pushed fully open

   "Well, stuff."

A group of goons marched down the stairs to the first floor to turn off the fire suppression system, where they noticed a lonely Ian, gun in his hand.  They raised their weapons and shouted, "Don't move!  Hands above your head where I can see em'!"

The rest of the goons traveled up the stairs with the group, up to the rooftop where a large glass lounge had been built, inside a man with red and black hair, shaved on one side and swept over the other could be seen standing behind a desk.  He looked older, and relatively calm.  He eyed the group as they approached.

The goons shoved them into the room and shut the doors behind them, standing guard outside.  "Please, sit." the man behind the desk said, gesturing toward an array of couches and love seats in the room.

Daniel, with a noticeable amount of unease, sat down on a rather welcoming brown couch, and looked around.  "What do you want?" he asked.

Norum sits uneasily on the arm of one of the loveseats.

"You know something funny?"

"Your life, so see you in hell!"

Ian suddenly quickly pulls out a PD-9 and quickly shoots the lights out and slides to cover, then toggles night vision.

The goons, having their weapons trained on Ian, open fire as soon as he reaches for his firearm, bringing his attempt to resist to a quick end.

Ian unfortunately sustains serious injuries, making resistance no longer an option.  He is now in critical condition.

The goons quickly pick him up and carry him up the stairs.

What the hell dude?  I don't think you understand what exactly is going on, or fully grasp the concept of role playing a character realistically.  I'm gonna have to kick you from the RP.  Go read through some RPs, get a feel for how people role play and participate in a few.  This role play is for those who are experienced.

Sorry, man.

Archie shoots the old man an evil glare while he walks down to the love seat. He then sits down next to Norum.
