Quick bit of info: it is rare to see actual full size vehicles on the street, as most vehicles now use repulsor-lift technology to hover off the ground, and most just travel at a higher altitude than the street itself.  Emergency vehicles will have a tendency to travel on the streets at low altitudes due to the reduced amount of traffic.
I kind of figured as much.  We're in a poorer area of town, so it is quite possible that there's some budget 3rd party service.

Suddenly, Morgenstern notes that one of the three men have suddenly taken off, separating from the group at higher than average speed.

Norum begins by chasing the ambulance at a fast pace.  Due to the crowded streets, the ambulance is slowed.  Due to the wake that the vehicle cleared, Norum begins to gain on it as it slows down to a particularly crowded section of the road.  As it honks its horns at the people, now quite alarmed and clamoring to get out of the way, Norum darts into an alleyway and uses a variety of balconies, walls, and trash bins to get atop of the buildings in order to get a better view, holding his hat tightly so it would not slip off his head.

He then continues at a fast walking pace, both keeping an eye on the ambulance and taking moments to look out for the hospital.

Norum finds himself only three blocks from the East River when the ambulance wings a sharp left after it gets through the throng.  As he looks in the direction of its bearing, he sees it headed towards a light gray building with a big + on the side just a few blocks from the East Benton Bridge.

Daniel begins jogging off at a brisk pace in the direction that Norum had run, following the distant sound of the sirens, expecting Archie to follow.

Archie follows promptly after Daniel starts jogging, at a slightly slower pace to not sore his wound any further. He looks high and above throughout the buildings, trying to find where Norum jumped off to.

"Do these things let us talk with each other?" he asks Daniel, tapping the earpiece connected to his arm.

Norum holds his hat and runs back on the rooftops and spots Daniel and Archie jogging down W. Kingman Avenue toward him.  As soon as Daniel and Archie can see him, he jumps down into an alley, using two balconies to slow his descent, crushing an old bucket upon landing.  He looks around, and seeing that only a single bum, very much tweaked and alarmed at the time saw him, he tugs at his vest to straighten it, brushes off a bit of dust, and casually walks onto the sidewalk.  Although Norum cannot see over the crowd, he sees Daniel and Archie only about 30 feet away.

Morgenstern informs Elena of the men's quick movements. They're farther out now. She sighs and continues walking, while monitoring their transmissions.

"I'm not sure.  I think they can, but The Flies' boss is listening, so, wouldn't do much good."

Elena is now a mile away from the hospital. She interrupts the men's radio channel.

"I'm willing to meet up with the three of you, but I can't take part in your obligations that Flies handed down to you. I see you're at the hospital. Shall we meet there?"

"We can do that.  Would you be so kind as to direct us to our friend, who's gone ahead to find a way to the hospital?"

"Been following you for half a block," Norum says, visually a bit annoyed, walking just behind Archie.

Daniel turned around, "Oh, geez man, didn't even notice you.  Where's the hospital?"

"Turn left at Addison and it's three more blocks, on the left."

"Sounds good.  You still there, mystery lady?  Did you hear that?  We're almost there."

"Alright cool.  We're about a block away now.  See you there," Daniel replied before turning to Archie.

"Make it look like you're real sickly now.  We'll tell them you got mugged and we didn't have our phones to call nine-one-one," he says.

"Alright," Archie says confidently. He takes both hands and ruffles his hair in a messy style. He then goes to a nearby pile of soil, and throws some on his face.
