"Here to see the Doctor?" the girl says.

It's the same voice that was in your earpieces.

Daniel nodded, casually replying, "We've got a few words for the Doctor, yes."

"Wonderful," she says sarcastically.

She brings her voice down to a whisper.

"I'm the one who's been talking on your earpieces. Considering I watched you- go to the Doctor's, I assume you are trying to see that bastard for the same reason I am. I can assist you with some technical skills, but if you don't want my help, then I guess I'll just go and, see the Doctor anyway. Also, you cannot tell Flies about me, if you do, I'll be sure to make your life beyond miserable. It's for- my our own, convenience that Flies doesn't know we're meeting, to put it that way,"

She takes a breath.

"I've been watching the Doctor a while, and I've seen how he forgets people over. I sincerely believe we are going for the same thing, and I want to help,"

Daniel nodded, "Alright.  We've just got to run these errands for the Flies and hopefully they'll be out of our hair.  After that, we'll be back on track and hunting him."

Norum looks around the room, although he was initiwlly listening in on the conversation, but sees a man sitting nearby with a blotched face, his jaw featuring a strange growth on the left side, and is twitching.  He clutches at his right leg, which as Norum sees under his pants, is mechanical.  He's seen it before.  This is the point at which the radiation poisoning starts to develop tumors all over the body, and the nervous system cannot respond correctly.  The man probably won't survive through the end of the week, maybe even until morning.

"-oh, you guys needed money. Do you have an ID Paymet card?"

"Yeah, I've got mine," Daniel reached for his back pocket, before stopping himself.

"No, wait, no I don't.  Forgot it at home.  Damn it."

"Yeah, I got one."  Norum takes out his wallet, takes out his card, and tosses it to White.

She runs her fingers over it and returns it.

"There,"

Daniel raised a brow, "What was that?  You just touched his card.  Does that generate money or something?  I'd like to know that trick."

She raises her index fingers and thumbs, and shows them to the two men.

"Card readers. One of my later implants,"

She puts her hands down.

"Once you two are done working with Flies, then I'll tell you a bit more about myself. If you tell Flies, you'll never have another cent in either of your bank accounts," the girl whispers.

Daniel furrowed his brow, "Well, isn't that fancy," he said.  "Alright, alright.  You'll be our secret, no worries."

Meanwhile, a doctor operates on Archie.  He removes the bullet fragments from his wounds, sanitizes them, stitches them, and then bandages them up after applying a stem salve, a salve with stem cells to accelerate tissue regeneration.  He is given pain medication, and then billed, then released to the waiting room.

"Look, there's our man now."

The girl stands up.

"Good, I'll be watching over you guys. Keep in touch,"

Archie walks over to the guys before shooting an unexpected glance at White. He looks at Daniel for a second; "All better," he says.

Then he looks back at White. "Oh, hello."
