Help - Steam still says I'm playing Bad Rats

Author Topic: Help - Steam still says I'm playing Bad Rats  (Read 2643 times)

Okay what the forget is going on. I was running Bad Rats in the background as a joke, and when I went back into the game to shut it off, it froze. I went into Task Manager but Bad Rats being stuck took up the whole screen so I couldn't use TM. So I signed out and signed back in on the computer, which I usually do when this kind of thing happens on games like Fallout. Went back into Steam, still says I'm in Bad Rats. I figured "oh, it must be running as a background process." Nope, doesn't show up in that TM list. I look in the Details tab, and Rats.exe shows up there. Right-click, end task, yes..."Access is denied."
Can anyone here help me with this? I'm using Windows 10 by the way.

seriously, any problem like this can be fixed with a simple restart and/or on and off.

Hi this is customer service

have you tried restarting your computer

this is the most hilarious problem ever

also if access is denied, press view processes for all users and it will grant administrative access in the task manager
