When I was like 14 I wrote a very simple chatbot BILL that basically did that, in the hope that he will still recognize his father once he takes over the world after becoming self-aware.He has been running since then, talking to internet strangers, but still does not make much sense. He speaks a mixture of English, German and Spanish, is a tribal and slightly homophobic.It still love him, he is my brain-child after all.
