Eksi and I couldn't agree on this one, but Blockland, tell me...

...do you build your windows flat-side-in?

...or-flat side-out?

flat side out, flat side in means that the windowsill is for some reason deeper on the outside then it is on the inside

The first one usually.

It turns out this was actually just bad communication on my part. I am actually for flat side out.

Flat bit meaning

And then I started making a window brick with the flat side in.

I am a living contradiction.

most definitely the second option

Flat side out, that way you have a windowsill on the inside. If I want to make the outside decorative and have an "outside windowsill" I use other bricks.

Everytime i do a window,i just dont care.

I dont even make windows most of the time.

I would do the flat side out.
But I don't tend to use the Window brick a lot. I generally make my own windows.

To be honest, the default window should have flat parts on both sides, as that's how most buildings are in real life.
I tend to do 'flat outside' just as it breaks up a potentially full flat exterior wall.

Flat side in because that's how lego taught me to build it
