Author Topic: Blockland Builds to Lego Block Pricing  (Read 1055 times)

The average cost for a lego block is about 10 cents (from what i've collected)
Using this information, how much would some of the community's builds and saves cost given the brick count?

The old demo builds would cost $15 when they hit the brick limit.
This isn't counting additional costs based on size of the bricks, vehicles, and FX paints.

blockland seattle would cost around 26,500 bucks

wouldn't be surprised if it even went to 35k

ACM city is probably worth 300-800 pounds

As of 2014, it was apparently an average of 10 cents a brick.
It's probably a bit more now.

The Golden Gate Bridge is 44,465 bricks. That makes it $4,465.

The Large Pirate Ship is 5301 bricks. Making it $530. (The Imperial Flagship Pirate ship, is 1664 pieces, of similar size, and available to purchase via eBay at an average of $1,000. The Large Pirate Ship is a great deal, half the price and over 3 times as many bricks!)

Two Ships, also pirate ships, is 6715 bricks. Making it $671. That's a sixth the price of the Imperial Flagship, but 4 times as many bricks, and two ships!

The Bedroom (default save) is 33,739 bricks. Making it $3,373 to build your own human-sized room out of Lego!

where can you buy lego in bulk like this? does the actual lego website offer these orders or is it somewhere else?

the tutorial would cost approximately $409 (that is, before brick sizes, taxes or your water bill)
