It's some weird fan thing which I think was meant to be bad on purpose.
If I recall, it had something to do with the leader of the project having high expectations for something and the animators did this to spite him.

Anyway, I found this gifset on tumblr and I was wondering if anyone recognizes it and can tell me where it comes from:

I think it was the triforce of courage.
Each of the triforces were a character.

Also the leader of the project created a self interst oc of him being the prince. Of course, the animators made him gross.
