I would argue that "make" and "for their upkeep" were supposed to mean something that isn't necessarily for the prisoners benefit, like a rehabilitation program would be. There's not a lot of people out there that outright oppose rehabilitation, so it's not generally worth asking in my opinion.
That's a good point. I didn't think of the wording in that fashion for that question.

"Should children be made to wear a uniform to school?
You can assume that the uniforms are being paid for, if it would affect your decision."

What does "being paid for" mean?
I assume you mean "being paid for by the school" but the wording is regret ambiguous

"Is it wrong that children are made to cite the pledge of allegiance in school?"
I want to answer this question non-anonymously.
I voted no, because you're not "made to"
Choosing to not say it is a right protected by freedom of speech

Yes. This is to take out the "it will cause an unnecessary financial burden on the parents" argument.

I really regret not putting a third option there, with how everyone's answering it. I'll add a follow up question.

Would like to see the stats when this finishes.

What's the (Cis) next to the gender supposed to mean?

There's quite a lot of liberal choices in there

You're not a transloveual.

I mean, there's usually a libertarian, right-wing, and left-wing choice.
Wouldn't exactly call corporal or capital punishment liberal, nor would I call repealing the minimum wage liberal, or banning gay marriage, or banning abortion, or having kids wear uniforms. etc.

I actually enjoyed this. Even though it was very political, I didn't mind it. Politics are my fancy :^)

You're not a transloveual.
What's the point in having that if males and females aren't transloveual anyways? lol

Some people may have misinterpreted it as "male" including female to male transloveuals and likewise with "female" including male to female transloveuals. Out of 237 respondents so far today 11 have been "other".

>answer gays should be allowed to marry

>answer polygamy shouldn't be allowed

treading some dangerous water here

"Not very religious" in the first section should be "Not religious at all"
in fact, the current wording is just a yes or no question. dunno how you're supposed to fit ten degrees between "very" and "not very" (which can mean just about anything)

also this is vague
"Do you believe that a private business owner has the right to discriminate against potential customers for any reason?"
are you asking if they should be allowed to do it for any reason they want? or are you asking if there's any reason they should be allowed?

Yeah, like half the survey put 1 and only a quarter put over 5.
Should have just made it "Practicing a religion, Religious but not actively practicing, agnostic, atheist."

If they should be allowed to discriminate for any reason they want.

Basically, the libertarian position.

>legal drinking age
>other
