What. You should stop hosting.
Why? How is it hurting you that I host it? People have asked for me to keep it up so I have.
Because you literally don't care about it.
Why is that a reason to stop hosting? It literally affects me in no way and some people want to play on it.
If you don't care about hosting then the bugs and flaws wont be fixed, it will go mayhem, and eventually nobody will care for it.
Well people care for it now. I'm literally doing nothing but making some people happy by running it right now. Fine by me. Once it dies off I'll stop hosting. Until then I'm doing nothing but providing some people with a place to play on. As you can see by the playercount, at lease some people are liking it.
It may not be dead yet but unless you start fixing some issues it will die off eventually.
Sounds to me you only care about popularity. That is ridiculous.
It's literally the opposite. I do not care at all about the server at all or about the people. In my current situation I'm left with 2 options: I double click dedicated.bat on my desktop or I don't. I have 0 care for the server. If people enjoy it now it's fine. If everyone leaves tonight and doesn't come back ever, it's fine. I literally have 0 care for the outcome of the server no matter what happens of it.
Seriously, if you don't care, don't host.
If you don't care at all about the server, why make a topic? Why post here? Why give any sense at all that you're investing time into this server beyond 'doubling clicking dedicated.bat'?
I made the post back when I cared about the server. Then I stopped hosting it for a week and I got requests to put it back up. So I did.
