Any interesting field trips the BL forums has been on or is going to go on?

Never been on a single fieldtrip at all since 4th grade.

I go to belfast every year

i went to the bronx zoo two days ago and we had to go through the ghetto to get there

last year we went to wright state to watch some chemical show thing

I'm planning on going on field trip to China next year. Last field trip I was on was the Universal Studios trip in Middle School.

I went to Llanerchaeron, a Welsh estate/museum now owned by the National Trust last week.
It's an old medieval/renaissance estate, that was refurbished and redesigned by John Nash, the architect who designed most of Buckingham Palace.

I also go to a museum in Carmarthen, the county town of Carmarthenshire, in a few weeks.
And then to Newport, to see the Newport Ship, a 15th century ship uncovered in Newport by archaeologists, some of whom are professors from my university!

Last year I went to Hadrian's wall on a field trip, walked along part of the wall, and visited various Roman sites, such as Vindolanda, the Roman Army Museum, Housesteads Roman fort and Corbridge Roman town.

And then 3 years ago, with my college Classics class, we visited Rome for about 5 days.
We visited the Coloseum, Roman Forums, Pantheon, Vatican, Vatican museum, Ara Pacis, Baths of Caracalla, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Trajan's Column and Market, the Palatine (including Augustus' house), and the Capitoline Museum (the most amazing statue, the Dying Gaul is inside).
