Author Topic: does anyone know if you rewrite your signature on your social security card?  (Read 602 times)

i wrote my signature in blue ink because i'm stupid, can i rewrite it with black ink?

Isn't the criteria for most things like that to use black OR blue ink?

the background of the card is like a baby blue, so i doubt it.

Try scanning it and see how legible it is

That's the only reason they have those criteria anyway. If it's legible in the scan there's no problem

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter if you use blue ink. Just leave it.

it's also the fact that the signature looks nothing like the one i use. i was on cloud 9 that day, so it looks like scribbles.

I don't think people expect sixteen-year-olds to have consistent signatures
and readability doesn't matter regardless of how old you are. if your signature is easily readable that's actually kinda weird
