Author Topic: is light a particle or a wave  (Read 2836 times)

people cant agree one weather or not light is a wave or particle

lets settle this forum. which one is it

someone failed physics...

Now that the dual nature of light as "both a particle and a wave" has been proved, its essential theory was further evolved from electromagnetics into quantum mechanics. Einstein believed light is a particle (photon) and the flow of photons is a wave.

i could be wrong, but i'm fairly certain it's a particle.

i never actually took physical science....

Neither have I but I think it's a wave because light has a frequency and frequencies are measured in waves or whatever
If I'm wrong correct me

that's a good question
that I would have the answer to
if I just loving remembered

particle-wave duality.

both. this question was settled a hundred years ago, stop trying to trick us >:(

im not trying to say 'who cares' but why does it really matter. why does any of this matter. if people want to get things done we have to get all of these stupid forgetign quesgtions out of the way.
also google says its a wave
